Walthwaite How is a four bedroom rental property in the heart of the Langdale Valley with breathtaking views.
The property is over 300 years old and Linda Joseph were commissioned to update the kitchen, living spaces and bedrooms for the new owners.
Whole house project
Rebecca, loves a whole house property to renovate. It allows her to create a comprehensive scheme throughout the property that reflects its surroundings with statement pieces and accents of colour.
Here we made the most of the natural light flooding this room with the lighter fabrics and accessories, and a better definition between the seating and dining areas.
Large Bedrooms
There is much emphasis on good interior design for small bedrooms, with ingenious storage solutions. So if you have a large room how do you furnish and style your room when space is not an issue?
Here we made a feature of the bed with this impressive four poster, and added different seating options to make the most of the view from the window. Fabrics and wallpapers were chosen to complement the decor on the ground floor and keep a clean and contemporary feel throughout which works really well in older homes.
Kitchen tweaks
The kitchen didn’t previously have an island. So we designed and fitted one to complement the scheme freshening up the existing kitchen along the back wall to bring the look together.
